In fact this was not specific to any phone, but a generic bug. When opened, not 
changed and closed, the phone preference would set the volume to -1. 
Furthermore, it would not initialise with the persisted value but rather with 
the current stream volume. Finally, it would leave the stream volume at the set 
value rather than resetting to the previous original stream volume. All three 
fixed in r97.
