We have another report from a user.
But still, I cannot reproduce such a situation.
For everyone who is affected:
webgl.disabled
(in about:config) make a difference (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration#w_disabling-webgl)about:support
on OS and GPU helps us to understand the problem better. You can use "Copy text to clipboard" and remove any information that you do not want to share. If you do not want to post it on Github, you can also send the information by email to support@ghostery.(Note: the links above are for Firefox, but the Ghostery Browser is based on Firefox; rendering and tab management should use the identical code.)
So far it has been reported on MacOS and Windows 11. On the affected Windows 11 profile, disabling hardware acceleration seems to avoid the problem.
Update regarding the Windows 11 profile (integrated AMD graphics card) . Seems to still happen, even with disabled hardware acceleration.
Details: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics 2.00 GHz RAM 16.0 GB Windows 11 Pro (Version: 23H2)
I was able to reproduce this on macOS 14.6.1 and on Windows 11.
