Will not accept spaces

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open ssh session to Junos srx firewall
2. Paste command string or enter command and try to enter space
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

command string contains spaces or command line accepts spaces
instead spaces are stripped from command strings and a space entered with the 
spacebar is entered as a return

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.4.0.3

Is this just entering commands into the putty session directly or from the 
Commands bar?

Does it happen only when the putty terminal is in SuperPutty? (e.g. can you try 
stand alone via Connect External?)
