What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. SSH to cisco router
2. run the "SHOW RUN" or "SHOW LOG" command
3. press and hold SPACE BAR to scroll through window to bottom

A. EXPECTED RESULT: Window should scroll through config or log until hits
bottom.

B. ACTUAL RESULT: Putty session flashes and dissapears from tabs.

Extra Note. Problem did not occur when I RDP into my windows system. Behavior
could be related to the speed of the space bar repeating. I went into keyboard
settings and decreased repeat rate. I will check if that made a difference
tomorrow.

I had this problem too when connecting to Cisco devices and entering a 'show
log'. When I hold down the space key, the putty session drops and disappears
from the tabs. I tested with Putty only and do not have this problem. I use a
Microsoft ergonomic keyboard with the full microsoft driver and software. I
was able to work around the problem by reducing my keyboard repeat rate.
