I have a bunch of temperature sensors in my home and it is very convenient being able to see the ranges between them all in the Home app under the home summary. This is towards the top of the Home app where it will say something like "Climate 73°-76°".
The problem is that this plugin reports that the target temperature IS the ambient temperature for the AC unit.
So, suppose all the temperature sensors in my house are detecting a range between 75°-78°. Well, if I turn this AC on and set it to cool to 60° and the ambient temperature is 75° where the AC unit is, the Home app will report that the ambient temperature is the target temperature, 60°, instead of the actual ambient temperature, 75°. Because of this, the temperature range shown in the Home summary will now show as 60°-78°, when it should really be showing as 75°-78°.
Just because the AC is set to 60° doesn't mean the actual temperature in the room is suddenly 60°.
