Avogadro is an advanced molecular editor designed for cross-platform use in computational chemistry, molecular modeling, bioinformatics, materials science, and related areas. It offers flexible rendering and a powerful plugin architecture.
So, I'm running the Avogadro v1.1.1 with extended ORCA support, and it seems to run using about 50% of my processor power even with nothing loaded into its memory. I have attached a screenshot of my performance monitor and the empty avogadro screen.
I tried both restarting and reinstalling the modified Avogadro, but to no avail. Any thoughts?

I'm happy to provide more information as needed.
Thanks, Graham
