Not able to use new player #13

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to play a video
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To be able to play the video.  It does nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The most recent.  Vista.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm sorry, but you have to provide more details why it does not work on your PC.

Please double check if you set the "Always allow" option in flash security 
options.
Go to 
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_man
ager04.html
and set it.

Same issue as this gentleman is having.  I tried setting the "Always Allow" 
option
like you suggested, but to no avail.  Clicking on the "Options" button, under 
the
Add-ons menu brings up a blank white window, with grey navigation tabs, but 
nothing
actually shows up at any point.
