After we have a clear idea of what an ephemeral MC looks like, we now need to find a way to configure a whole pool of those to enable testing.

Acceptance criteria:

[ ] We know where and how to configure an ephemeral MC pool with a pre-defined size
[ ] Size can be easily changed
