Nvidia Shield Saves Editing #1

I left comments on the Borderlands TPS blog.gib.me site about this, but I figured I'd add an official issue to the tracker here so it can be monitored and updated.

Gibbed (on PC) isn't able to open the save files for either Borderlands 2 or TPS when I pull those save files from my tablet to my PC. I just get "LZO Decompression Failure" error.

I've uploaded my save files for BL2 and TPS to my Google Drive and shared them here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_XX7JYpJ3u2dDJ0bDNTWnBjSFE?usp=sharing

Where are you finding the save files? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

On my shield tablet, they are located at:

/mnt/expand/d0a59eb3-1bac-4902-b268-3caf1d6d4b25/user/0/com.tt2kgames.Borderlands2/files/savegame/101163233274638917544

It took me a long time to find them, basically just looking thru every folder I could find lol.

Awesome. I'm on a ShieldTV. Are you rooted? Folder structure seems a bit different on the ShieldTV, or I'm not able to access those folders due to not being rooted.

It may be possible somehow to access the save files without root, because the game itself reads and writes the save files and it doesn't require root access, but I don't know how. I just know that accessing the files with a file explorer seems to require root because you need to get to the root file system / to get to the right paths to where the files are.

I don't know if it's the absolute latest (I think it is though), but after the dev added nvidia shield support I downloaded it and tested and it worked great.

Sorry to bother you again. Got my ShieldTv rooted, but still not seeing saved games. I'm thinking it is because of Google Play is doing a cloud save. Did you disable or never activated Google Play/Games? I'm thinking this might force a local save.

No, I have Google play signed in and it cloud saves on mine also, but I still have local saves in that location. Can you even find the com.tt2kgames.Borderlands2 folder? how far into the folder structure that I listed do you get before running into a dead end?

Found it! For me, it was in /data/data/. Everything worked. Couldn't have done it without you. Newly restored interest in the game. Thanks!

Sorry to bother you again. Got my ShieldTv rooted, but still not seeing saved games. I'm thinking it is because of Google Play is doing a cloud save. Did you disable or never activated Google Play/Games? I'm thinking this might force a local save.
