No-icon mode #3

When you have too many games, the application freezes trying to pull all of the icons from the steam api. Is it possible to have an option to the set the application to just text mode only (disabling the icons)? It would require a settings file to make the change consistent for each start up after the initial setting, while allowing the mode to be switched back and forth on a user need basis. (So basically a view mode, like in the windows explorer UI).

+1! I completely agree with this suggestion. This would be a nice option!

better: put the icon loading on a new thread, and dispatch the results in chunks to the ui thread.

Please let me know how much the new build helps things. It's not a no-icons mode, but it's a step there.

its guud love it but there use to be 4 blank games which had some unusual names on em they used to help clear recent game history but i dont see anywhere anymore if u could add them back plz :3

I did a recent purge of applications that don't have actual achievements/stats tied to them. I won't be adding them back.

You can use the manual ID add to do it.
