T-Drum not outputting different notes on different channels

If I set up Tracks and T-Drum like this, with 12 steps each playing a different note, and connected to a Scope to visualize channel output, then according to page 18 of the manual I would expect each step to trigger a different channel. All steps trigger channel 1, regardless of note choice.

Did you change your synth mode to Drum mode ? You can do it with a right click on the corresponding synth (on the Tracker module), once you clicked on "drum mode" you need to click on "update synth". With the "drum mode" on, the "notes" will be dispatched the good way on T-Drum and the gate signals will be using triggers instead of long gates :)
