I would like to be able to put a note on a distribution preference to explain
why I have entered the preference there.
Example: Preference "Max 2hr blocks" would have the name of an instructor who
needs it (whose classes are involved). I do not use the preference on an
instructor, because I would not be able to use fake courses to block the
instructor e.g. for meetings with the dean etc. (there would be max. 2hr blocks
required for these meetings too). Or, there are sometimes courses that the
instructor will attend, but his lectures can be right before or after these
courses. So, I am left with creating a distribution preference between the
classes that matter and I would like to see immediately that the preference was
entered for this reason. (Or, there may be a set of distribution preferences
because of a specific group of students. I don't keep all that in my head year
to year and I don't remember the reasons immediately when I see the preference.
It would also help transferring the knowledge to a different user.)
