popup.html should show a loading status message #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Tasks extension
2. Click the Tasks icon on a high latency connection
3. Note the lack of feedback that the Tasks gadget is loading

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Ideally a spinner or "Loading..." message is displayed to the user in popup.html

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
