LGP;future scenarios of climate data #116

Hello, I would like to ask you, due to the lack of future scenarios of climate data, especially solar radiation, relative radiation, wind speed, so can not carry out the follow-up operation. I looked at the model and found that the calculation of LGP was obtained with evapotranspiration data and rainfall data. So can the potential evapotranspiration data PFT and rainfall data be used to calculate LGP, replacing solar radiation, relative radiation, and wind speed data ? In addition, would you like to ask, the future scenario data ( especially solar radiation, relative radiation, wind speed ) have a download site ? Sincere greetings

@maobw12 Hi there, apologies for the delay.

  1. LGP calculation -- yes there are several ways and equations to calculate this -- if you are proficient enough you can adjust the calculation to fit your input parameters

  2. Future climate data are available on https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/home. Example: CMIP5 data (1850-2300), which should have all the parameters required for PyAEZ. You can explore more on the Data Store.
