Hi @jeafreezy, Thanks a lot for your valuable contribution. But in this PR, there are lots of changes and now it is outdated. Could you please use the latest version and try to fix the layerGroup related issues.

Hi @jeafreezy, I am going to close this PR for now, since it has lots of conflict with main branch. If you are trying to improve the layergroup function. Please kindly send the new PR.
