User interface improvements #7

Fixed the detection of file extensions (previously, e.g. file.s1982test.ihx would be considered a Motorola S-Record file instead of Intel hex).
Read input file early, to be able to report file errors early.
Add -v flag for verbose output.

P.S.: Warning: Not tested on STM8 hardware yet.

I suggest to postpone the merge until after I found time to test it (and by then, support for reading binary files should be ready, too).

Closing this for now, will reopen a new one once testing has been done and binary file support is working.
