This is an old problem, it might be it is just a question of correcting a path variable. The goal is unite our big corpora and apertium (and preferably our fastest machine, the xserve, but that is another story).

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LTTOOLBOX_CFLAGS and LTTOOLBOX_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.
