Incorrect keyboard layout shown on iPad Mini #9

When selecting the Divvun Dev crk keyboard on an iPad Mini (6th generation, with a diagonal of 8.3 inches), one sees an incorrect keyboard with a mixture of Cree and Sámi characters, cf.

New Note

Furthermore, the second row from the top is inconveniently too much to the right for accurate and efficient typing.

In addition, the globe key allowing for swapping keyboards is missing, which means one gets stuck with the crk keyboard.

Now, one gets a more crk-relevant version of the keyboard, the 12-inch iPad layout, but that is still not the proper one for an iPad mini, for which one should rather get the 9-inch iPad layout. So the code is not finding out properly the available screen, which would still need fixing. Also, the globe key is still missing (#16).

Besides iPad mini, the keyboard layout recognition appears to malfunction on other platforms and devices as well (main evidence for various iOS gadgets).

The solution to this issue would seem to be indicated here: https://github.com/giellalt/keyboard-crk/issues/16#issuecomment-1303254610

While the globe key issues appears to have been resolved (#16), this issue concerning the selection of appropriate layout seems to persist.
