make clean deletes checked-in file

When running make clean in lang-sme/tools/hyphenators, the file "version.txt" is deleted. It should not be, as it is a checked-in file, not a generated one. I believe line 276 in giella-core/am-shared/tools-hyphenators-dir-include.am is the culprit, as it deletes *.txt.

I am not sure if the best solution is to give the version file a different suffix or to change the makefile.
