The first line of .gitattributes should be * text eol=lf

If there are any committed binary file types they should also be listed as such (e.g. *.png binary), but defaulting to text and LF (\n) is important.

I noticed because the template update conflicted with my existing uncommitted .gitattributes for lang-kal.
