jsTree tag does not honor reloadTopic

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a json base jsTree with reloadTopics="reloadTree"
2. create a link with onClickTopics="reloadTree"
3. click the link in the html page

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The tree to be re-loaded instead of nothing happening

Which struts2-jquery plugin version?
3.6.1

I attached my JSP where reloadTopic=reloadRules
