form double selector

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Double selector i.e. Struts2 jquery plugin show case 3.7.0 Form Ajax double 
select example not working in IE 8 but works in chrome.I tried with my own 
example but still it works in chrome not in IE 8 .

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
First selector is loading with data ,but second list not populating.The 
selected value is not getting passed to action.

Which struts2 version?
Struts2 2.3.16

Which struts2-jquery plugin version?
struts2-jquery plugin 3.7.0

Please provide any additional information below.

I thin the problem is the same like in Issue 1093. I will check this within the 
next days.
