Form ajax not works in Internet explorer 7-8

Go to showcase (http://struts.jgeppert.com/struts2-jquery-showcase/index.action)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use IE 7 or 8
2. Try Forms - Ajax forms in the showcase
3. Try to push buttons.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should serialize the form elements, but it not works.

Which struts2 version?
2.3.16.1

Which struts2-jquery plugin version?
3.7.0
