possibility to input two seperate values but save as one total value in grid column #1120

1.view in grid as one number in column

2.once user goes to edit column, two input fields show to input two numbers

3.after user saves then the two numbers add together to show only one number

I don't know if this functionality is available or not. would this be an 
special editoption that i create a function for? is this even possible?
