In January 2014, Google Project Hosting will discontinue support for new 
downloads:

Need to consider what to do about providing new downloads in the future.

I would recommend https://bintray.com/ especially for their maven integration.

Ended up using The Central Repository (http://search.maven.org/#search|ga|1|) 
search feature to provide a direct link to the artifact downloads for each 
version that's available on Maven Central.
