Keeps say "No power"??! #47

Ender Rift keep saying "No Power" even though I've met the power requirement. I've tried multiple energy generators. The setup in this screenshot I have a bunch of windmills and water wheels from immersive engineering connected to a wireless network from the flux network mod. And then connected to the ender rift. I have tons of energy flowing into it and it's at 1 million RF. But it just keeps saying "No energy". What's the deal?.

You need a Driver block connected to the inventory, to power the inventory system. It is powered separately from the rift structure itself.

Connected where? I've attatched it to the structure but am still having the same problem even after powering it. I have the Crafting Browser attached to the green sphere, and can see the items, but get the flashing no power indicator even though the structure itself has energy.

Ok, this comment here: https://github.com/gigaherz/Ender-Rift/issues/42#issuecomment-633167627= Fixed it for me by mimicking the screenshot. I still don't really understand your explanation of how to fix this, and every video spotlight seems to show them just slapping on a crafting browser and it working.

Maybe it would be worth updating the tutorials section of the wiki with that screenshot since the change for requiring power to the terminals seems new/not documented?

Those videos are from the older pre-1.12 versions, when things worked VERY differently.

The Rift can be used with other inventory access systems, such as AE2 or RS, but you always need to power the structure. If you choose to use the Ender-Rift inventory network, you need at least ONE powered Driver somewhere in the network.

This is a minimum setup, using one generator for both the Driver and the Rift Structure: image
