Define Shields? #10

The vanilla Shield made of iron is so boring. Is it possible to make shields from other metal materials? It would be nice if you can do that.

Not currently. Shields are a very specialized item that would require implementing multiple things to be able to define one via json. However, there's existing mods that add custom shields, maybe one of those has a design you like? But keep this ticket open, as a feature request, so maybe I remember when I have some spare time and decide to work on this.
