create new game button shown at startup #17

when the app is started and there are already games, the create new game button should not be shown, but is.

okay - so I got it to not show the create new game button when a user has games in the database. however, if you delete all the games , then the button comes back on when the app is entirely restarted. i kinda like it but i wanna hear opinions.opinions?
