activity papers and table

Sample of 200 Open articles about dermatitis and essential oils, to explore whether "activit" is sufficiently formalised in papers to allow systematic extraction.

A preliminary search on EuropePMC (cut at 200) created a directory (https://github.com/gilienv/EssOilDB/tree/master/activity/skin ). ami-search was run with disease, country, species, funder to give the data table: https://github.com/gilienv/EssOilDB/blob/master/activity/skin/full.dataTables.html (best browsed locally).

The XML files are converted to HTML and can be sectioned later. PDFs are also available.

I have manually skimmed through 10 articles (ignoring those not about essential oils). Here's my summary.

measured means there were new experiemental measurements, possibly profiles but also activities. Some activities were reported for the oild, not the components. review means the article was a review.

Most of the articles are relevent to acne but not to EssoilDB. (Other articles do indeed contain profiles).

So I will build a new repo for @mannyrules and me to pursue this.
