Avatar cropping square is gray #433

Original jcrop plugin makes the selected square lighter:

However, that effect is lost in social stream:

When the Jcrop was part of social-stream this was the result https://github.com/ging/social_stream/commit/c4e566d5adb3b5e275cf866837c27cf900e68f3b was never to be seen as in the example of Jcrop. I am still watching, thanks
