Not sure if this is for the buying process in general, or just using the application.

Once I found something interesting via a search, I’m a bit stumped on the “next steps”. Currently I just find the same item on my computer, and proceed that way. But it would be nice to know the intended workflow. Are we supposed to have a way to copy the URL, or are we supposed to log into the proxy service on Otaku!?

Hi! Thanks for writing.

I created the app for me and people like me who are already using a Proxy but want to manage everything in one place.

BUT! The app definitely needs more onboarding and explanation for people who are totally new to the process.

If you want to stay in Otaku then you should pick a proxy and use that.
But each proxy works in different ways so there's always going to be a learning curve.
For most, if you find an item in one of the stores outside the proxy, then yes you'd need to copy the URL (tap and hold on an item to get the iOS Copy URL option) and paste it into the proxy and continue the purchase there.
Picking a proxy is a task in and of itself.

I don't really know what the best flow is. I'm open to suggestions and thoughts.

Ah okay! That makes total sense.

I don't do much proxy purchasing, so it wasn't immediately obvious what the flow was.

A couple of suggestions - feel free to take or leave them!

an intro to the intended flow in the "more" page? I initially looked through that when I wasn't sure what to do next
a more discoverable share button.
- I did see you can long-press a shop to copy the current URL, but the first thing I had tried was clicking it. And I can see it being pretty hard to find that. A very tiny share button could work, or maybe just a single press opens share as well?

will give it some thought, i am already thinking of making a tap on shop tab double as "back", not sure
