What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to integrate GoogleCast with any Windows app (Desktop, Store, Phone)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An SDK for the Windows Platform please.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chromecast support for Windows

Yes, the ability to develop applications for Windows that act as Chromecast 
Receivers would be enormously useful.

Need to add actual chromecast app to windows phone and actual support to other 
apps like Netflix, hulu

I'd like to see this in order to provide a route to cast the audio from 
applications like Winamp, MediaMonkey or VLC via an output plugin. It might 
also allow a similar output plugin to be developed for iTunes and WIndows Media 
player.

I would be very useful to have an SDK library for Windows platform, enabling 
casting control in desktop applications which are using dll library with 
interface written in C++ or C#.

I'm for Linux, but anyway would it be better if the Sender API will be 
opensourced or its spec will be published.
