Scope for improvement in chrome cast features #570

What kind of features can be added ?

When a video is casted from YouTube on to the device where chrome cast is 
connected, we do not have an option to replay a video. There is a scope to add 
a feature for video or audio replay.

The options can be 

replay this video/Audio
replay the whole playlist
replay none

This would enable the users to replay their favorite audio's and video's from 
YouTube or other devices multiple times.

What happens if this feature is not added?

The current cast options are user friendly and people can still use the chrome 
cast without any problem. How ever when a user would like to replay an item he 
will have to queue the same item multiple times so that it continues to play.

I'm interested to work on this add-on feature, however I would like to know the 
 terms and policies for using cast SDK and API's for development and preferred 
platform. Also is a freelancer allowed to work on the development of add-on 
features?

This is not an accurate forum for reporting this feature request. It is a 
feature request for the youtube app and hence it should be reported at youtube 
support forum.

https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/terms.
