It is quite all well and good to be able to change the title of the work at any given time, but sometimes you need to actually keep your working files together in a directory with other working files. For legal purposes, for backup purposes, or for simple organizational purposes.
There is no obvious way to tell Gingko to make the working file in a different directory than whatever's set as system default.
The obvious menu solution is to go with Save As and give it a different directory there, or Save Directory under the File menu and go with that.
