What version of BluezIME are you using?
Latest one from the market.

What Android device do you have? What Android version?
Imito QX1 rooted , 4.2.2 Finless 1.5 ROM

What gamepad are you using?
iPEGA PG-9017, Joystick mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The iPega itself works fine with most emulators without the Bluez IME.
2. The Connection to the android is OK, but XY/AB buttons don't work on games
other than emulators.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I keep getting the error what ever I do although I seems to connect fine with
my device without the app. I tried restarting the Imito and the Ipgega but to
no avail.
it tries to connect to the BLUEZ IME constantly but it fails. I installed the
HID file mentioned here but it didn't help either. I saw previous issues and
people said there is nothing to do. Hope they are wrong, Thanks.

Please provide any additional information below.

You say "The connection to the android is OK" but the title is "BT socket
connect failed error", not both of these can be true.

Something changed in Android 4.2.2, so most likely Bluez-IME simply does not
work.

I meant that the native connection to the Android system works, but I cannot
connect through the Bluez IME.
Thanks

You cannot connect with both the native and Bluez-IME at the same time.
Android 4.2+ has some changes that makes Bluez-IME not work.

l
anyone having problems with the Ipega, I found the solution here. At the bottom
there's a link to download the Ipega game center, that will make the controller
fully functional in any game that accepts an gamepad. I had the same problems
as you guys, now I use the ipega in games like Asphalt 8 and Shadowgun
