phonejoy making epsxe crash #268

phonejoy is making epsxe crash every time I push any button on the phonejoy 
controller.  it is set up and connected properly, but causes an insta-crash as 
soon as a button is touched.  The only place this does not happen is in the 
preferences menu, in which the phonejoy functions normally, allowing you to 
scroll through the menu's.  Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

i am using BluezIME version 1.16

i am using a Samsung galaxy note 2 with android 4.3.0

I am using the phonejoy gamepad

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect phonejoy
2. run epsxe
3. hit a button on the controller.

I'm not crashing but I can't seem to get it to detect the controller. The main 
menu detects my Phonejoy controller, but once I enter the game I can't seem to 
get it to work. I just bought mine the other day, I'm using this version of the 
controller.
