repeated crashing on invalid fileformat #800

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open invalid file (e.g. binary file)
2. Editra will crash
3. re-open Editra
4. it wil try to re-open recent files, including invalid one, crash again, ...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not crashing (ignoring invalid file in the first place, or at least not trying 
to reopen it).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
V0.7.20, Mac OSX (darwin, python 2.3.7, wxMac 2.8.12.1, unicode, 
wx-assertions-on, SWIG-1.2.29, mac-cg, mac-native-tb)

What method of install was your version installed with (Binary/Source)?
Binary
