[ ] Update third party dependencies in go.mod, including some with security issues.
[ ] Update references to version v0.89.0 of the OTEL collector classes.
[ ] Update generated collector code using v0.80.0 version of the collector builder tool.
[ ] Disable default Prometheus metrics server in
config.yml
examples.
[ ] Update to v0.5.0 of the
trace2receiver
component.
[ ] Update Windows Batch File sample installer to use the safer "Local Service" account rather than "Local System".
