There's one vulnerability fix, but it only affects callers that enable HTTP Strict Transport Security, which Git does not. The assessment is therefore that Git for Windows does not need to be released urgently with this new cURL version.

This required a follow-up bug fix: https://github.com/git-for-windows/MSYS2-packages/pull/199 and https://github.com/git-for-windows/MINGW-packages/pull/133 (the former more pressing because the regression originally even prevented the deployment of said regression fix).
