Curl bad argument #5260

I am trying to update git for windows. This command in bash, and powershell cli causes an error and the update fails.

I am attempting to update from version 2.45.2.windows.1 (64-bit) to 2.47.0.windows.2.

Command git update-git-for-windows

Error Message curl: (43) A libcurl function was given a bad argument
