Fixing the setup files where possible.

It is kind of a hack. Maybe a better way would be to make a /git/config file and use it in the git commands in the game...

Thanks! We do have such a config file! :) It's the one in scripts/gitconfig! Wanna add the setting there and force-push a clean solution to this branch?
