X7U and X7L format support - Yamaha MODX, Montage, Montage M #37

Is it possible to add support for the Yamaha X7U and X7L formats?

For example NKI, KMP, SF2 file being converted to X7U or X7L and also the other way around?

Would love to do that since I just recently got a MODX7+. Problem is that this is an undocumented binary format. I found a documentation about the main structure but the details would be a lot of work to dig into. I you have more info, I am all for it.

SampleRobot Software has implemented the X7U and X7L formats. They may have reverse engineered these formats or simply gained access to the documentation by contacting Yamaha.

Great, so if at some point it is possible and you have the time available to dedicate to it. I think it will be very worth it. Which is something very difficult to get anywhere...

Ah, I have a suggestion for the future. How about you develop automatic sampling software like Hardware Converter (Midi Hardware), VSTI Converter (Via VST2 and VST3). And a real-time midi map for mapping notes and velocities in real time. Just like the old Extreme Sample Converter software?

And you will gather all the formats ever made for this new software. Such as name, for example, Moss AutoSampler Converter

I can help you with the translation later, you will have to develop the software so that the translation can be a .xml or .lang file (with all the original translation strings to be translated later). for example English to Portuguese - Portugal (my native language) etc.
