Crashing when converting moderately sized NKI files #57

Hi, amazing project! I got rather excited when I saw Kontakt files were supported, and proceeded to try and convert a few free libraries I've never been able to use properly. Unfortunately, it seems that moderately sized (500 MB - 2 GB in size) instruments seem to crash the program outright, with no error message before crash.

I've attempted to run Carpenter Trombone (1.57 GB samples) and Pacific - Solo Cello Legato (581 MB samples), but both crashed the program. It climbs to around 12000 MB in memory usage before crashing without a trace. I've run it on a slightly smaller instrument, ESW House Piano (341 MB), and it runs without issues in less than a minute.

I have 48 GB of RAM, so I don't think it's running into a memory limitation, but am unsure. Perhaps it's the Kontakt programming?

Can you PM me on KVR?

TechnotechGit commented 4 days ago

@git-moss I actually found this off KVR, however I don't have an account there. Is that the easiest way for you?

Sadly, you cannot PM on GitHub. In case you are on the Reaper forum, you can PM there too. Or if you can point me to a publicly available example which shows the issue, you can post it here as well.
