Push can't move in the clip grid by just one track #372

The manual says that when you use the arrow keys, you move the clip frame which represents the pads in the grid [by single tracks and scenes] and you have to hold shift to move by blocks of 8. This works as described with scenes. With tracks, however, you move in blocks of 8 without the shift key, and with the shift, you're moving the selected track left and right. When the selected track is moved out of the current 8x8 block, the frame jumps by 8 so the selected track stays in the frame. Moving the selected track might be a feature, but it's not what is described in the manual. Perhaps put moving the selected track on shift + select, moving by blocks of 8 on just shift, and moving by a single track just on the arrow keys alone, as it's described in the manual which would also be consistent with the behavior in scenes.

Yes, the documentation was not clear. Just updated it. But it will stay this way, there were many discussions about this and this is the consensus, at least so far ;-)

So it won't be possible to move the frame just by a single track, even if you hold down a modifier? Please read the following sentence in a confused tone and not an angry one: Am I really the only one who would like to do that?
