NominatimPOIProvider: request failed. #76

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Starting the NominatimPOIprovider exactly as the tutorial dictates
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

An error is generated stating that: "NominatimPOIProvider: request failed." and 
returns null for the pois.

What version of the products are you using (Android SDK, osmdroid,
OSMBonusPack)?
OSMDROID-4.2
OSMBonusPack-4.7
Android SDK- 19

As stated at the very beginning of Tutorials: Tutorial 0, "Important note about 
network calls": 
"For these tutorials, target an SDK earlier than 3.0"
