Closed chriscool closed 4 months ago

chriscool commented 6 months ago

A currently mostly empty draft is there:

https://github.com/git/git.github.io/blob/master/rev_news/drafts/edition-111.md

Feel free to comment in this issue, suggest topics, suggest persons to interview, or use the edit button (that looks like a pen) to edit and create a pull request with the changes you would like.

Let's try to publish this edition around the end of May 2024!

Thanks!

I just added an article about our GSoC contributors in 1dfde8f6059acb710dc74c278918d2b06d5463cb.

We should write something about the next Git Merge too.

[RFC PATCH] docs: document upcoming breaking changes

@jnareb I think it might be better to cover it in the next edition in case more discussions happen soon. Thanks again.

Supplied my usual tiny fixes and rephrasings (plus some elaboration on stack approaches in Git workflows and Git 2.45.1 friends) as 3ae927c [1] . As usual, feel free to scrutinze/improve/revert.

@mjaix I reverted what looks like a typo in bc17136989cb0ee8634a56220cd80db2d454221d, but otherwise your fixes LGTM. Thanks!
