Proposal / Idea: Kudos Badge / Widget / Display

User Story

Currently the kudos received by users can only be displayed on gitcoin.co. This doesn't help propagate the awesomeness of Kudos!

Description

We should add a way to display Kudos in any other platform or form. Either generate a badge (like the github shareable badges), or add them to your profile picture via avatar builder, or have them linkable from some external source. Try to find some external wallets and encourage them to include Kudos, metadata should already be set sufficiently to display kudos from blockchain/gitcoin profile/github profile.

Current Behavior

Kudos only show up on gitcoin.co

Expected Behavior

Kudos should show up on many different places, wallets, marketplaces, etc.

Is there a way we could build something from this with our current Kudos api?

with the current API no (I do not even think there is an API for this). Due to the ETHDenver2019 roll-up I had the pleasure to get a deep-dive into Kudos. Depending on this, and what path of display we want to pursue we need different things on the backend side:

• Badge/Widget Here we would need to implement (or recycle) the ability to load kudos per Profile or address. Currently only Profile is supported (e.a. github / gitcoin profile). Also we need some way to pin it, else the badge/widget will have variable size(s). Else we can display the first / last / rarest / ... kudos depending on the filters we can set.

• Adding to Avatar Builder Well, this entirely depends on the avatar system itself, I do not think that we currently support this with the Figure-squashing. We would definitly need to implement something like this, but I wouldn't touch the avatar system right now as it is being rewritten as we are speaking. It's just on 3rd backlog burner position as ETHDenver and Feedback System are prioritzied by the core-team to work on.
