I would like to chart a course to the Quadratic Lands - a place where communities are empowered to build for the common good. In this place,

There are numerous opportunities to create financial sovereignty while working side-by-side with people who share similar values. 1.Individuals have sovereignty to make their own choices, but incentives are aligned for cooperation that generates both individual and community benefit. 1.The economic infrastructure is a set of economic games with transparent rules that cannot be changed on us. 1.Because of composability of blockchain-based systems, the surface area of opportunity is growing exponentially as the tools compound upon each other.

Think of the Quadratic Lands as what the Ecosystem could be at its best, if we accomplish our best selves: “The task before us is to align money with the true expression of our gifts.” - Charles Eisenstein.

We long to see the Quadratic Lands. Let’s go there together.

I am working with the Gitcoin team on creating some marketing collateral for Gitcoin around these themes:

A cooperatively built internet where creators own their work + collectively determine their future.
Ideas around learning, collective creation, culture of collaboration
Open APIs, P2p Communities
Meme "Financial Freedom, Financial Soverignty"
Meme: "Own where you earn"
Meme: For Builders by Builders (or Builders building for Builders)
Meme: A community of deep connection/bonding
Meme: Shared Ownership, Collective Determination
Meme: Quadratic Lands (the promised land, visually depicting the land where the above exists)
Stewardship of Publicgoods
Anything vaporwave, (There will be unicorns and vaporwave memes)

I would like to work with the Gitcoin community to create some visual collateral that depict these themes.

Details of the deliverables:

16:9 original artwork images only, pls submit vectorized in svg format.
This should be an image that portrays one of the themes above. Text should be minimal but some text is fine.
Images should follow the brand guidelines below

I will take the best of these images and post them to the Gitcoin twitter. I will offer UP TO 350 DAI per image that is accepted into the campaign; up to 4 images (one per person). If you do not put the time in (or do not have the skill) to make the image a high quality image, that we would be proud to use on twitter, you may not get anything and all and will certainly will not get the full amount. The goal of this is quality > quantity. Please DO NOT submit copyrighted material. The final amount is up to my discretion, if you have questions about whether you're on the right track, pls PM me on twitter (twitter.com/owocki)

Hey @doubleoroos thanks for the submission! We appreciate you integrating your ideas with existing assets to stay on brand but for this particular exercise we'd prefer original art as mentioned in the bounty description. We'd also like to see more contrast in certain areas so that the image comes through clearly when we use it. Let us know if you have any questions!

@PixelantDesign thanks, just to be clear, so you actually want the same design settings you already have yet something new and original? You don't want us to take risks right? And another question. What is happening with the payments? Before for the other bounty Kudo's designs, first we could make 3.0 ETH and then it suddenly changed to DAI. Is this common? Just asking.

@doubleoroos we would love to see the creative ideas and if possible try to keep the ideas in line with the design guidelines (existing styles and colors). Our intention is not to limit creativity but to ensure the assets are on brand.

On the pricing the total pool is 3 Eth. It is noted 20 Dai per artwork up to 45 Dai. Let me know if you have any other questions! Looking forward to seeing your submissions!

i really like the unicorn one @ts-lang , but well see what those with more of a keen eye than me think :). one thot is the unicorns look a bit more cute-sy than the city which seems a bit more cold. also what is this part? https://bits.owocki.com/o0u6Y8e9

@owocki I was thinking about a something to show the "success" (or in other words "collaborative success"). for that I was thinking about putting a glowing diamond, sun/star, a coin, or a glowing circle. Finally I ended up with a glowing diamond-like polygon. As that polygon more near to something like an ETH symbol. What is you idea, what will be more suitable there?

@ts-lang looking great! We're loving the direction, contrast, and vibrant colors! Would it be possible to see a version where the Quadratic logo is moved to the top out of the city so that it the logo sits in between the unicorns?

@KushMd interesting concept. Where should the user focus their attention? What is the most important takeaway from the illustration? Perhaps a rev on this could be a more focused/zoom in on the area that communicates your idea? I do like the colors and use of grid lines to show perspective!

Ok, I did something kind of different now. It''s about hope and Quadratic Lands (the promised land, visually depicting the land where the above exists) that's why the two ovals exist, as above so bellow. Flat colours, flat earth reference, another earth next to ours. Two planets and still the same planet just another dimension. A better dimension, a better parallel reality then the world we see these days. Change is coming, evolution. That's my thinking process.

@owocki @PixelantDesign Thanks @scco I so needed that colours etc. It was very helpful.

hey hey hey happy contributors,

if your still full of creativity - heres an Illustrator template with the basic global colors. setup as a 4k 16:9 file to kickstart you :)

i think best creative results come by working in some constraints / limitations. so i suggest to

have a clear idea you want to visualize first ( and maybe draw it on a paper )
use just 4-6 colors at all. no gradients, shades, effects needed
limit yourself to max 1000 vector points per motive ( less is more )

I love the vivid colors! Would it be possible to try the illustration with flat colors as Richard mentioned above? Could you also share in a few lines as a written description in terms of what you were thinking on the concept?
