Context

This is an ETHDenver Bounties Track Issue.

Per https://medium.com/gitcoin/integrating-standard-bounties-dc4cf62bf814, the Bounties.network is meant to be bounties for any knowledge work task.. Whereas Gitcoin is bounties / incentivization for open source software.

What

We would like to incentivize you, as a member of the Gitcoin/Bounties family, to create a new vertical off of StandardBounties. We will be awarding the best submission for this task a 1 ETH prize, assuming the below requirements are met.

Our Ideas

Code Mentorship Bounties

It'd be great to see a site where people who perform some coding mentorship task receive some amount of ETH as a prize.

Kind of like Google Helpouts, but on the blockchain :)

Stack-Overflow Bounties

Bounties on questions, built either by integrating with the current stack overflow site, or by building a new site for incentivized questions.

Information Bounties

In the 21st century, information is power. Let people put bounties on research & information gathering.

Design Bounties

It'd be great to see a site where people who perform some design task receives some amount of ETH as a prize

Translation Bounties

It'd be great to see a site where people who perform a translation (or transcription) task receives some amount of ETH as a prize

Work has been started on the 1.0 ETH (422.33 USD @ $422.33/ETH) funding by:

  1. @pvela
  2. @mrbrianhobo

Please work together and coordinate delivery of the issue scope. Gitcoin doesn't know enough about everyones skillsets / free time to say who should work on what, but we trust that the community is smart and well-intentioned enough to work together. As a general rule; if you start work first, youll be at the top of the above list ^^, and should have 'dibs' as long as you follow through.

On the above list? Please leave a comment to let the funder (@owocki) and the other parties involved what you're working, with respect to this issue and your plans to resolve it. If you don't leave a comment, the funder may expire your submission at their discretion.
