We need to a front-end dev/designer to take a stab at making our conference website pretty! We have a simple static site with a general information architecture and some rough styling/formatting. We need a designer to take what we have and boost it up a couple notches.

Design Requirements:

• We're working async on a NEXT.js site in html/css in this repo
• Simple formatting and styling to clean up the website structure (adding a grid of speakers, styling components/headers to make it look clean etc...)
• We don't need much visual design work - bonus points if you can take a stab at a logo + icons throughout the page.

Timeline:

• We'd like to get this website public asap and have the resources to co-develop this over the next two weeks. Estimated time would be around 5-10hrs.

Submission Requirements

• Post your portfolio when you apply for this bounty so we can get a sense of your skillz.
• Work with @owocki and @abbeytitcomb to understand the visual direction for the site; then execute against that vision.
• Expect 2-3 revisions.
• Fork the Repo + make changes to the site & PR them back
• We'll pay out the bounty!

• let's keep things simple and clean. i.e. check out our website at -> (https://monadic.xyz/). Don't worry about crazy design or styling. I think the hacker vibe is what we're into :)

@owocki Hi mate, sorry for the late reply, I have been struggling to setup my dev environment correctly (e.g. run a local instance of the site). Running 'yarn dev' as stated in the README yields a NODE_PATH err. I am using yarn v1.13.0 and node v11.8.0, any help would be appreciated, once setup it won't take me long to make the design changes. @abbey-titcomb I like the vision :) , that won't be a problem at all, thanks for the info and resources. Apologies for the delay once again.

Maybe could be something to do with the node modules? I remember running into an isssue with them as well. Sorry for the issues!
